PLN #4

I read an Article called "Could it Happen here" by David Warlick. I agree with his article about having a conference on making schools of the future to inform educators, students and parents. When i was thinking of what matters from this story a lot comes up. Its so big this could change learning make it more "easy" for students and teachers. This conference matters to the U.S a lot it would change the way of learning and make it better they need to get ahead in education so this conference is necessary. I think what matter is progression. I'm connecting to this because when i think that are classrooms could have been like this it would had been easier in my opinion and we use lab tops in English class and that some what is stepping in the future. In the world this relates because everyday you see someone trying to see someone doing something better progress a product and advance the world. If this happens the U.S could produce better Americans by having a better learning environment. It would also be more real going into a business world everyone uses computers and they would be more advanced and prepared. I can relate this to my History class and the topic Social Darwinism. This relates because it was about you had to be fit to basically keep your job. So the Asians are growing more fit by already having there conference and they would be producing more fit workers

Brandon! Good job talking about the article. Also good job relating the article to the world. I thought you also did a good job relating it to Social Darwinism, like the countries over there are getting more fit, and we need to step it up. Good job not talking too fast too.

Brandon, good presentation, your eye contact could have been a little better, and your speaking could have been better by speaking more clearly.

Brandon, you did well on summarizing your points on the story and how it connects to yourself. I think it could have been a little smoother but you still did well.

Brandon, you spoke very clearly and loud which helped us hear. You did a good job on connecting it to your classes. I like how you were detailed on how it related to you in your social studies class. Could be a tad more organized but other wise great job!

Brandon, I think you did a really good job on this presentation. You had a lot on how it relates to the world and to your own life. You were also prepared and did a good job speaking to the class. Next time you could talk about the article a little bit more but, all in all, great job.

brandon! Good job on your presentation. Your pace on your speaking was good and slow so I could really understand you. Your eye contact with the class was also good. I also really liked how you compared your article with your history class and your english class and you went into details with how they relate to the article. I also think that you should try not to fade off win speaking and try to speak a little clearer, but other than that good job.

Brandon, the connection between social studies and english was a good way to explain what you thought about the article. I agree with you that the US should have a similar conference also. Maybe next time you could speak slower but other then that good job!

It was good how you connected to the article, gave examples and gave your thoughts. Then again you need to be more organization and eye contact. Not to fade off when you talk and not to pause when you were on a roll speaking because then it is really noticeable. Other that that good job.

Good job Brandon. I agree with you that we need to have a conference here. It was a good idea to connect it to this class and your s.s. class. You could work on making more eye contact. But your speech was relly good and pretty clear. Like SeanB said, try not to fade off.
